Job Description
We are seeking a skilled machinist specializing in CNC operations including milling, turning, and grinding. You will work with diverse materials such as Aluminum, Titanium, and Inconel, with capabilities up to 100 inches for milling and 78 inches for turning. Our facility is equipped with over 100 CNC machines, including brands such as Okuma, DMG, OKK, and Toshiba.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (milling, lathe, or multi-axis) to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Program and edit CNC machine code as required, using G-code and CAD/CAM software.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal operation.
Conduct quality checks on finished parts, ensuring they meet customer specifications.
Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation.
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Essential Skills
CNC experience (3+ years ideally)
Blueprint reading
Basic inspection experience
Shop math
Fanuc control experienceAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of mill, lathe, and vertical milling operations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with G&M codes and Siemens control systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining tolerances

Work Environment
Our shop, though dirty, is climate-controlled to ensure comfortable working conditions. With over 100 CNC machines, we operate on two shifts: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday) from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday) from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. We offer flexibility in hours, but require mandatory work on Saturdays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IndianaPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
