Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
An opportunity exists for experienced School Psychologists to support students in a dynamic K-12 environment located in Central Point, OR. This contract position is designed for professionals dedicated to enhancing the educational and emotional well-being of children through prehensive psychological services.
Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology
Experience working with K-12 students
Strong assessment and intervention skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Excellent munication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide short-term counseling and psychological interventions
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement strategies for student success
Conduct crisis interventions and provide support during emergencies
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address student needs
Offer professional development workshops for staff on mental health topics
Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
Advocate for students' mental health and educational needs
