Forklift OperatorPay: $23/HourLocation: Sumner, WAShift: 7am-3:30pmJob Description
We are seeking motivated individuals to fill two openings for the 5am shift as Forklift Operators. This role requires stand-up forklift experience and is a go-to-work position with minimal training. As a Forklift Operator, you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for loading and unloading freight, ensuring quality checks, and managing inventory with precision.
Responsibilities
Operate stand-up forklifts efficiently and safely.
Unload/load freight from containers and palletize goods.
Perform quality checks on products and ensure accurate inventory management.
Utilize RF scanners to cross-reference and check for accuracy.
Work in inbound roles which require 60% time on and 40% off forklift duties.
Handle outbound roles with 60% on and 40% off forklift responsibilities, including using loaders and cherry pickers.
Start with offloading duties to understand the supply chain process and cover any freight handler shortages.Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 months stand-up forklift experience.
Cross-dock experience in warehousing.
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly, with occasional lifting up to 120 lbs. between two people.
Attention to detail with reading numbers and handling paperwork.
Willingness to unload/load trucks for the entirety of the shift.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience operating Crown Electric standup loader/cherry picker/stand-up reach forklift.

Work Environment
Work in an expeditors warehouse where products are stacked in the middle of the facility on racks, surrounded by dock doors. The workplace is lively with forklifts constantly moving in and out of containers. You will be part of a medium-sized team of over 10 employees, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working atmosphere.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
