CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team! This role involves setting up and running complex machining operations on horizontal and vertical mills, as well as mill/turn machines equipped with multi-axis twin spindles and twin turrets. The ideal candidate will have expertise in selecting proper tooling, maintaining setup sheets for new parts and design revisions, and performing offsets, edits, and tool changes at the controller. You'll be working with industry-leading CNC Mills, including Mori Seiki, Makino, Kitamura, Brother, and Hurco 5-axis machines. Additionally, you'll conduct first article inspections to ensure precision and quality in every part produced.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines, ensuring efficient and precise machining
Select proper tooling for various machining sequences and optimize production workflow
Maintain and update setup sheets for new parts and design modifications
Perform offsets, edits, and tool changes to maintain high-quality production
Conduct first article inspections to verify product accuracy and adherence to specifications
Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operationsQualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience in CNC setup and machining on vertical and horizontal milling centers
Strong understanding of G&M Code with the ability to edit and program at the control
Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Proven ability to perform full machine setups independently
Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC Lathe Machines
Experience with CNC Mill Programming using GibbsCAM or MasterCAM is a plusWhy Join Our Team?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr.
