Job Description
As a general laborer, you will be engaged in various tasks including deburring, cutting, sanding, and loading material that did not meet standards after running through the mills. Duties will vary from day to day, but you will spend a majority of the time refinishing material to ensure it meets standards. You will be using hand and power tools to complete daily tasks. This role requires comfort with lifting over 50 lbs continuously and involves physical labor.
Responsibilities
Perform deburring, cutting, sanding, and loading of materials.
Refinish materials to ensure they meet standards.
Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
Complete tasks as assigned on a daily basis.
Maintain high attention to detail and quality in work.Essential Skills

Work Environment
Work in a modern steel manufacturing facility equipped with filtered machines that clean the air automatically. Although the environment is not temperature-controlled, it provides a comfortable setting. The large facility spans over 1 million square feet and may be loud, requiring the use of hard hats and safety shoes.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.35/hr.
