Sr. Project Manager, Cybersecurity

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager, Cyber Security to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end cyber security projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.

Oversee project scope, timeline, budget, risk management, and stakeholder communication across multiple departments.

Collaborate with security engineers, IT teams, and third-party vendors to implement cybersecurity controls and initiatives.

Track key performance metrics and provide executive-level reporting on project health, risks, and deliverables.

Ensure timely delivery of security projects including incident response enhancements, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives (e.g., NIST, ISO, HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).

Drive continuous improvement and best practices in cyber security project management processes. Qualifications:

7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity or information security initiatives.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies.

PMP, CISM, CISSP, or related certification preferred.

Proven success in managing complex, cross-functional security projects in mid-to-large enterprise environments.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Experience with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools is a plus.
