Job Summary:
As a Food Production Operator you will be part of a team responsible for preparing, cooking, packaging, and inspecting high-quality food products in a fast-paced production environment. Youâ ll ensure that food safety, sanitation, and quality standards are strictly followed while maintaining efficiency on the production line. This role involves operating food production equipment, monitoring product consistency, and supporting inventory and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor food processing and packaging equipment in accordance with company SOPs.
Ensure all food products meet safety and quality standards (including temperature, appearance, and packaging integrity).
Follow daily production schedules and accurately report production data.
Perform visual and physical inspections of raw and cooked products.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment according to USDA and FDA regulations.
Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety requirements.
Assist with setup and teardown of machines for daily operations or product changeovers.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and improve production flow.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
