This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact, growing organization at the intersection of business, education, and policy—driving workforce development and economic opportunity across the Greater Phoenix region.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy & Execution

Design and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to significantly increase annual revenue.

Cultivate and manage relationships with Arizona-based and national funders aligned with the Foundation’s mission.

Oversee all fundraising streams, including major gifts, foundation grants, annual campaigns, and donor engagement initiatives.

Major Gifts & Donor Stewardship

Manage a portfolio of 100–150 individual and institutional donors capable of contributing $25,000+.

Collaborate with the CIO and Board to deepen relationships with top supporters and create tailored engagement strategies.

Develop compelling donor proposals, presentations, and reports that showcase the Foundation’s impact.

Grants & Institutional Giving

Work closely with the Foundation’s grant writer to identify and pursue strategic funding opportunities.

Oversee grant proposal and reporting processes to ensure alignment with program goals and funder expectations.

Prospecting & Data Management

Leverage CRM systems and donor research tools to identify and qualify new prospects.

Maintain accurate donor records, track engagement activity, and use data to inform fundraising strategy.

Events & Campaigns

Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute donor-focused events and engagement activities.

Integrate fundraising messaging into public-facing campaigns to expand visibility and attract new supporters.

Board & Leadership Engagement

Partner with the CIO to develop a board fundraising strategy that empowers board members as advocates and connectors.

Provide regular development updates and equip stakeholders with the tools needed to support fundraising efforts

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience

5–8 years of professional fundraising or executive leadership experience, ideally within public policy, nonprofit, or education sectors.
