Direct Care Worker

Job Description

Provide training/assistance to assigned developmentally disabled individuals with interpersonal skills and activities of

daily living in accordance with the outcomes and goals in the Individual habilitation plan

Document all care per policy and procedures and documentation guidelines

Administer medications

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Ability to read and write proficiently in English.

· Must clear a background check for both abuse and the sex offender registry.

· Must be able to lift or support approximately 75 lbs either assisted or unassisted. Must be able to stoop, bend, and reach overhead.

Light housekeeping

· Weekends only: 3rd shift working only every 1st & 3rd weekend of every month

· Fri nights 11pm-8am, Sat 8pm-8am, Sun 8pm-7amCompany Description
