Responsibilities
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for leading a robust, agile, and motivated sales team. This position requires outstanding problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, deep understanding of the clinical environment, its technologies, and workflows, and experience leading and closing enterprise-level healthcare SaaS solutions for hospitals, health systems, and payers. It will be important that the selected candidate understands clinical decision support, electronic health records and how AI technology can dramatically improve patient outcomes across healthcare settings. The VP of Sales will work cross-functionally across the organization and report to the CEO.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Spearhead all of Pieces Predict sales efforts, from lead generation to close.
Accountable for the overall growth and day-to-day execution of all sales initiatives and opportunities
Drive daily activities of sales units
Be responsible for the growth of the sales team, which includes field sales, sales operations, inside sales,, and indirect sales; hire, develop, and mentor team members; develop best practice processes and document them; and identify and address bottlenecks, gaps, and risks
Manage team to support field sales on pricing, deal structuring, product configuration, and business terms to drive agreement closure, including end-to-end deal review process and ensuring compliance with published sales and business approval policies.
Be responsible for acquiring and documenting market intelligence with respect to key health system initiatives
Provide input to product teams with respect to competitors’ offerings, pricing, and products
Structure and direct the entire sales process from account identification to close
Run weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings to executive leadership on key metrics providing sound analysis with recommended next steps to improve sales conversion.
Be able to present sales updates to board of directors if requested
Meet or exceed sales targets and accurately forecast business
Execute and refine go to market strategy
Meet personal and team sales targets
Drive the annual business planning process, setting and deploying quotas, and managing critical sales initiatives.
Manage forecasting process and be the single point of contact for status updates and reporting on forecasts and revenue plan to actual. Ensures availability and provision of relevant pipeline and forecast reports and dashboards to the executive team.

Requirements
We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales who’s passionate about using technology to help the most vulnerable. You’re someone who believes the right data can help healthcare providers better help patients in need of extra support. You have expertise in the following areas:
Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, preferably a graduate degree.
Minimum 10 years in technology-based services sales growth roles
Minimum 5 years of sales leadership
Experience selling complex solutions into the C-suite of health systems.
Proven success as a B2B SaaS sales individual contributor - dealing with complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, some of the experience within a digital health startup environment
Proven success in a B2B SaaS sales management role with an emphasis on coaching and aligning with team members to unlock their full potential and achieve their goals
Track record growing annual recurring SaaS revenue 5X-10X from an initial starting point of ~$1M of sales
History of building enterprise sales organizations and scaling an enterprise sales channel.
Experience designing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns is a plus
Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning.

Exceptional communication, presentation, critical thinking skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to senior executives.
