ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsible for performing audits, as it relates to federal, state, and bank policies, procedures and regulations including all cash audits, quarterly negotiable audits and maintaining branch audit books. Must adhere and practice strong internal control procedures at all times while complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

Manage the daily routine and customer service level of the branch personnel. Extraordinary customer service will be required of each employee at all times.

Brief employees on current sales goals, promotions, and other relevant information

Obtain and track sales goals for the entire branch, including monthly score card performance reviews with each employee

Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed

Recognize employee achievements and encourage excellence in the work environment

Manage budgets, allocating branch funds, and defining financial objectives

Interact with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback

Resolve customer problems as need

Perform branch personnel duties as needed

Proactively solicit new loan and deposit business

Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position

Adhere to high ethical and professional standards

REQUIREMENTS

Banking experience

Management experience

Leadership skills

Knowledge of federal, state, and bank policy, procedure and regulations

Strong customer service skills

Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills

Strong background in sales and sales management practices

Basic computer skills, advanced skills with Microsoft Office

Must be able to interact with other offices and departments for accurate resolutions to problems/errors

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field or the equivalent work experience

Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank products and services

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant use of computer screens and reading of reports

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile

Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials

Ability to lift and/or move and carry 10-25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags)
