Job Description

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Performing everyday task in compliance with the final finished control plan

Inspecting each tire 100% for aesthetic or critical scrap

Informing Production and the Quality Technician of any non-conformity

Maintaining X-Ray Verifications per Control Plan, informing Quality Technician and production

of any non-conformities

Maintaining the Vent Trimming Machine, Quality of Trim and Housekeeping of Machine.

Properly identifying each rack of tires using the appropriate rack labels

Performing the first check of the First piece off verification, informing Quality Tech and Production of any non-conformities

Moving Full racks of tires by driving a fork lift or pallet jack

Verifying the Tire reconcile report on an 3 hour basis

Work to continuously improve the systems, processes, and procedures in area of responsibility.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Trained and qualified to operate forklift and overhead crane

Understanding of working with hazardous chemicals

Understanding of FIFO system and Pirelli codes

Must be able to lift 50 – 75 pounds

Steel toed boots required

Must wear nytex gloves, safety googles, respirator and tyvek suit as need when working with chemicals

Capability to work on own initiative, autonomously where required and to take responsibility along with the ability to work in a team environment
