About the Company

We are an early-stage AI-driven fintech startup operating in the wealth and investment management space. Our mission is to transform how users manage their financial lives through a web-based platform that intelligently integrates AI across the application, infrastructure, and data layers. Currently in live alpha, the product is in rapid development with a lean, driven team focused on creating scalable, long-term solutions.

While the current role does not focus primarily on AI-related features, we are building toward a future where AI is deeply embedded throughout the stack. This context is important as we seek someone who is excited about leveraging AI tools and frameworks in the near future.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer to play a key role in building and scaling our financial web application. The ideal candidate has strong backend development experience—particularly with NestJS and TypeScript—along with full-stack capabilities, cloud infrastructure knowledge, and frontend experience using React and NextJS 15 App Router.

This is a high-ownership role best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is comfortable working across the stack, including collaborating on AI-enabled components and agentic frameworks.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NestJS (with TypeScript)

Contribute to client-facing frontend features using React / NextJS 15 App Router

Collaborate with the team to integrate services built with Python and FastAPI

Deploy and manage infrastructure on Azure using Kubernetes

Build and maintain new and existing agentic frameworks within the application

Work with both PostgreSQL and MongoDB in production environments

Integrate AI into development workflows where applicable, including using modern prompting techniques and evaluation tooling

Help define and improve architecture, documentation, and development processes

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and product discussions

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of full-stack development experience, with an emphasis on backend systems

Strong experience with NestJS and TypeScript

Solid knowledge of React and modern frontend workflows, including NextJS 15

Experience working with Python/FastAPI and microservices architecture

Familiarity with Azure and Kubernetes in production environments

Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and MongoDB

Prior exposure to fintech, wealth, or investment platforms is a plus, but not required

Experience with modern AI development tools such as LLMs, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, etc. is required

Willingness to learn and integrate AI tools into the application and data layers

Familiarity with LLM workloads or agentic workflows is a plus; openness to learn is a must

Strong communication skills and fluency in English

Startup experience and comfort with ambiguity and limited documentation
