Acorn Distributors seeks a motivated, self-driven, competitive individual as a Sales Consultant to identify and sell new accounts as well as grow existing accounts. As a Sales Consultant, you will own the responsibility of growing your account base by utilizing all the resources that are available to you.
The open territory consists of the following but not limited to: The Greater Columbus Area
Sales Consultant Responsibilities
Act as a hunter of new customers
Establish and maintain long-term rewarding relationships with existing customers
Develop sales strategies and solutions to meet customers’ needs
Achieve sales and KPI objectives goals
Become an expert on the products and services we offer
Create and conduct presentations to new and existing customers
Conduct demonstrations for our high-quality products and equipment
Develop and maintain a prospective customer target list
Manage your time and working independently that includes developing your own route and schedule
Collaborate with our vendor partners to continually learn their product line and mutually present to customers
Work closely with customer service and purchasing to determine the best solution to meet the customer’s needs
Sales Consultant Requirements
Sales experience
High level of motivation and energy
Thrive as an individual and a part of a team
Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills
Commitment to provide customer service excellence
Ability to establish and maintain network groups
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales Management, Food Service, or another related field preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
