Wheaton Bible Church is looking for a part-time Database Coordinator with a strong desire to see the Gospel advance through the ministry of the local church and who will work toward that end by working with each ministry to provide needed data and support, and strategic and tactical support for the church’s databases, especially regarding database maintenance and integrity, information gathering, and statistical reporting.
Responsibilities:
Oversee our ChMS database (Church Community Builder) and assist with other systems including Atriuum, PushPay, MailChimp, etc.
Maintain database integrity and security; analyze data and develop reports for ministries.
Serve as primary liaison between WBC database users and the software vendor, Church Community Builder.
Coordinate information gathering, evaluation, integration, conversion, security, and implementation of new databases as needed.
Work with the Communication Director to coordinate all-church and individual ministry emails and mailings, including the coordination of bulk mailings.
Work creatively with staff to meet the new and ongoing needs of WBC ministries, including the automation of key ministry processes.
Provide database training, updates, and best practices to staff members and key volunteers on a regular basis.
Document policy and procedures for ministry processes.
Respond to staff and lay-leader questions, needs, and issues in a professional, timely manner.
Partner with our IT contractor to provide solutions to basic issues for staff and volunteers as needed, which may be otherwise challenging for contractor to support remotely in a timely manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of database experience.
A strong understanding of database systems and how to use them.

Possess the ability to effectively teach others to use database systems.
Self-starter with a proven record of outstanding organization and time management skills.
Exceptional Microsoft Office-based computer skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Status: Part-time Hourly (29 Hours/week)
