This is a Culinary Health Fund position
The Database Administrator will maintain the adequacy and quality of the enterprise-wide databases. The are responsible for database design and will meet the decision support needs of management and users. Will test and correct databases to ensure system integrity. The administrator should be well versed in structured programming/development but able to adapt to RAD technology. Participates in the development life cycle.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Responsible for the analysis, design, and maintenance of all database management software and related applications
Able to design and redesign databases to meet specific business needs; prepare tests and apply corrections to databases
Manipulates and extracts data for reporting and presentation purposes
Provides technical guidance to junior team members
Monitors and maintains the performance of logical and physical data models; develops guidelines and controls security access/recovery
Approves new entries to the data dictionary
Advises management on the efficient use of database and related software packages, both existing and proposed
Establishes project plans and timelines, communicates project plan information, objectives and deliverable to staff and management
Assists in establishing departmental policies and procedures
Provides input on the requirements of the organization related to data, reporting
Assists in the planning, installation, set up, and testing of new computer systems
Assists in establishing departmental policies and procedures related to the capture of data

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a(n) database table creation and relational design environment
Experience with stored procedures and triggers
2 years MS-SQL DBA experience
Experience in DB maintenance, performance tuning, back-up/recovery, and data modeling preferred
Bachelor’s in computer science or in quantitative discipline
Application technology knowledge required
Bi- or Multi- lingual skills, a plus
Salary range for this position: Salary: $93,900 - $117,300. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) as a remote, work from home arrangement.
