The Barndo Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warranty and Permitting Coordinator to assist in overseeing post-construction warranty claims and managing permitting processes. This dual-role position plays a key part in ensuring timely project execution and superior client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively with various stakeholders, and understands construction workflows, regulatory requirements, and customer service principles.Compensation:

$50,000 - $55,000Responsibilities:

Manage and Track Warranty Requests: Receive, log, and organize incoming warranty claims from clients; coordinate responses and dispatch service requests to the appropriate internal teams or subcontractors.

Support Permitting Process: Assist the permitting department with preparing and submitting permit applications, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete.

Maintain Organized Documentation: Create and maintain digital and physical filing systems for warranty claims, permits, inspection reports, and correspondence to ensure easy retrieval and compliance.

Coordinate Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to facilitate the timely resolution of warranty issues and permit approvals.

Perform General Administrative Duties: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks including data entry, scheduling, document prep, and communication follow-ups.

Monitor Project Compliance: Track permit and warranty deadlines, ensuring all regulatory and contractual obligations are met in a timely manner.Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a permitting, warranty coordination, construction administration, or related role.

Familiarity with residential construction processes and terminology.

Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shift priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Buildertrend, etc.)

Experience working with municipal permitting offices and knowledge of local codes is a plus.About Company
