Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Your Role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Conduct assessments and interpreting data to develop individualized treatment plans.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to implement effective speech-language therapy activities tailored to each student's needs.

Monitor and adjust treatment plans, ensuring clear communication among all team members.

Develop IEP goals and administering tests to support ongoing progress.

Provide insightful reports and recommendations for student needs.

Utilize behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

A master’s degree from an accredited academic program.

Active ASHA certification for speech-language pathologists (CCC-SLP) and/or audiologists (CCC-A).

Must possess strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with child, parent/guardian, multidisciplinary team members, and other personnel involved in child’s educational/behavioral program.

Must have knowledge of child development and common behavioral disorders exhibited by children and adolescents.

Demonstrated understanding of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and implementation.

Understanding and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and needs of students and families.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in counseling and education.

Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally as an SLP.

Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students, especially those with special needs.
