Job Summary:

A Production Worker plays a critical role in the manufacturing process. They are responsible for handling machinery, and manual labor tasks for our Rim Department. This position requires physical dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. This position works outside and in all inclement weather.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs typical machine shop and mold press operations to support the assembly floor.

Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.

Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding and all bench operations and inspect.

Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.

Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to learn new systems and machines quickly and efficiently

1 year of Forklift Experience

1 Year of Skid Steer Experience

Education and Experience:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have at least 1 year experience with working in manufacturing environment

Compensation:

$14.00 hourly. Paid bi-weekly.
