Position Summary: The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all planned maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and enhance plant reliability. This role collaborates with maintenance planners, maintenance supervisors, maintenance technicians, production teams, and procurement staff to ensure that preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently and on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and manage detailed maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.

Coordinate with maintenance supervisors and technicians to ensure the timely completion of work orders.

Prioritize maintenance tasks based on safety, production schedules, and equipment criticality.

Ensure all planned work is properly scoped, resources are available, and job plans are accurate.

Monitor work order status, update the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and close out completed work orders.

Work closely with procurement to ensure the availability of parts and materials.

Track key maintenance metrics (e.g., backlog, PM completion rates, downtime).

Assist in developing long-term maintenance plans and outage schedules.

Maintain equipment records and history in the CMMS.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in a maintenance scheduling or planning role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Proficiency with CMMS (e.g., SAP, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and scheduling tools.

Certified Maintenance Planner (CMRP) or equivalent.

Familiarity with maintenance procedures and reliability concepts
