What You'll Be Doing
Lead and manage daily operations of a 1,000,000 tpy quarry producing crushed stone and a 250,000 tpy Hot Mix Asphalt Batch plant located in Glen Mills, PA. Develop a high-performing team focused on achieving production goals.
Hold overall financial responsibility for all site operations to ensure fiscal health and operational effectiveness.
Proactively implement and uphold Heidelberg Materials’ safety program, ensuring compliance with all MSHA regulations.
Directly manage team members while adhering to Heidelberg Materials HR Policies and Procedures.
Oversee production planning, staffing, and daily operations efficiently and cost-effectively.
Prepare operational schedules and coordinate production activities to maintain product quality and specifications.
Troubleshoot and address operational, manufacturing, and maintenance challenges to minimize costs and avoid operational delays.
What Are We Looking For
Bachelor's degree in a mining-related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in quarry operations with a solid understanding of crushing and processing equipment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Solid understanding of government regulations, with a proven track record of promoting safe workplace practices.
