Lead Project Manager - Commercial Concrete

We are seeking a dynamic Lead Project Manager to oversee and drive our high-profile commercial concrete construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader who possesses deep technical expertise, outstanding organizational abilities, and a successful track record of delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct all phases of commercial concrete construction projects, including detailed planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution.

Manage and mentor project teams including project engineers, field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster a collaborative environment.

Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are achieved with a steadfast focus on quality, safety, and profitability.

Engage in effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure alignment and the success of every project.

Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes in scope to maintain project integrity.

Monitor and report on project progress, analyze performance metrics, and implement cost controls.

Lead project meetings and maintain comprehensive documentation of all project activities for clarity and accountability.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial concrete construction.

A proven track record in managing complex concrete packages for commercial or institutional projects.

In-depth understanding of concrete systems, site logistics, structural drawings, and specifications.

Proficiency in using construction project management software such as Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam.

Willingness to travel to job sites as necessary in the DC metro area.
