Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Water and Sewer Projects

Location: Woodbury, New Jersey

Country: United States

Salary: $70K - $90K

We are a well-established engineering firm based in South Jersey seeking a motivated Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with a minimum of 23 years of experience and successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses strong written and interpersonal communication skills.Role Overview

As an EIT, you will support Senior Engineers in the planning, design, and delivery of various municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This includes performing technical analyses, preparing design calculations, drafting reports, and developing cost estimates.

Typical projects include:

Water and wastewater treatment facilities

Potable water storage tanks

Water distribution systems

Sanitary sewer rehabilitation

Pumping stations

Knowledge of water distribution modeling is highly desirable.Qualifications

FE certification (EIT) required

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant engineering experience

Experience in the design of municipal water and sewer systems

Proficiency in technical report writing and cost estimation

Familiarity with modeling software is a plus

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentAbout Us
