JOB TITLE: Analyst (Advanced)

REPORTS TO: Program Manager

FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt

SUMMARY: SABG is hiring an Analyst (Advanced) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, Alabama. Advanced Analysts will support Agency Executives and Senior Leaders with day-to-day mission planning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Assist DT Directorate with Strategic Planning activities.

Capable of delivering a high level of customer support and integration, handling several complex tasks simultaneously.

Review staff packages appropriately for DT Front Office approval; which includes editing final products for historic relevance and current DT considerations.

Possess an elevated understanding and experience in Missile Defense Testing to develop and refine PowerPoint presentations, documents and Talking Points for the Director, and staff.

Provide direct support to DT Special Projects Lead and FMST Chief in initiating, coordinating and reviewing Enterprise Task Management System (ETMS2) actions.

Drafts and coordinates staff action packages for DT Test Support (DT Deputy for Test Support, DT Security Ops, and FMST (Functional Management Support Team).

Knowledge of Risk Management and Internal Control (RMIC) program.

Knowledge of DT Operations Security (OPSEC).

SUPERVISION: This position has supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of providing expertise in Strategic Planning, Programmatic and Communication techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems. Mid-level working knowledge, skills and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS and 6 years’ experience in administrative/business field; AA and 8 years’ experience in administrative/business field; or 15 years’ experience in administrative/business field.

Possess 3+ years of direct experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (Senior Executive Service (SES) or Flag Officer).

Understanding of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) mission and organization; missile testing, Pacific Range Support Team (PRST) experience is a plus.

Advanced level experience planning, facilitating and conducting executive-level activities.

Proficient in preparing, reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence.

Proficient in government travel processes and systems.

Proficient in developing and maintaining schedules including calendar synchronization of events and integration of activities for senior leaders.

Proficient in classified correspondence handling procedures.

Proficient in government task management systems.

Advanced level experience planning, facilitating and conducting organizational studies and presenting results and recommendations to senior leaders

Proficient in researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials (e.g. briefings, papers, read-ahead documentation).

Experience with government time-management procedures and systems.

Demonstrated knowledge of record management processes.

Must possess high levels of communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, organization, and presentation skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment

Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

CLEARANCE: Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
