Never compromise on safety: Maintain the highest safety standards and ensure top-quality product outcomes.
Collaborative project coordination: Work closely with sales, estimating, project management, operations, and external customers to create engineering packages. Drive projects from submittal to approval, and oversee the flow of details to the plant and erectors for seamless construction operations.
Lead and guide teams: Oversee two to four designers and up to two entry-level engineers on specific projects, ensuring effective management and design quality.
Design innovation: Create detailed designs and drawings for precast concrete systems from construction documents or conceptual information, managing multiple projects and resources effectively.
Sales collaboration: Assist with sales efforts as directed by the Engineering Supervisor, enhancing project acquisition and client satisfaction.
Field inspection leadership: Ensure comprehensive field inspections, generate observation reports, and track field repairs diligently. Qualifications & Experience
Necessary Licenses: Professional Engineering (PE) License required.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is essential, with a preference for a Master’s degree substituting a year of experience.
Experience Required: Minimum of 6 years in engineering, with at least 2 years in a similar industry setting. Supervisory experience of over 2 years is favored. Technical Skills
