Drake is seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant with hands-on SAP Business One (SAP B1) implementation expertise to support our accounting team during our software transition. This role will support our internal accounting team with day-to-day operational support and be instrumental in supporting the SAP B1 transition readiness, go live, and pre/post-workflow and controls development.

Primary Duties/Support Responsibilities:

Day-to-day accounting operations: AP / AR, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing,

Recommend and support implementation of system configuration and controls (in alignment with company business directives)

Support Master Data preparation and transition (E2 and QuickBooks to SAP B1)

Facilitate the development and implementation of SAP B1 Accounting workflow processes

Recommend and facilitate SAP B1 accounting best practices, innovations, and solutions

Key Attributes/Skills/Experience/Education:

To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in accounting principles, SAP B1 solutions, and successful implementation history.

Bachelors degree in accounting and 5 years of General Accounting experience

2-5 years of accounting working experience in SAP B1-based environment

SAP B1 accounting full cycle implementation from preparation, configuration, set-up, testing, workflow development, and accounting business best practices

Self-motivated team player

Demonstrated Project Management skills, strong decision-making skills, and solution development for complex problems

Sound judgment and method selection criteria focused on optimum results and overall business performance

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills

Work Environment/Schedule: (as applicable)

The optimum candidate will be available to work on location, full time, and directly with our accounting and operations teams through the entire preparation and implementation process (2-4 months). Some flexibility may be available based on the individual needs and project demands. The team'sA office hours are 8:30 5:30, with potential project deliverables requiring expanded hours or support.
