Full Job Description:

NOW CFO is looking for an Estimator to join our client in the construction and restoration industry. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Estimator with experience in construction estimating and proficiency in Xactimate software. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, as you will regularly interact with homeowners and insurance companies to ensure project accuracy and alignment.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and confident in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

General Qualifications:

Experience with Xactimate software is highly preferred.

Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—especially in dealing with homeowners and insurance adjusters.

Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.

Comfortable performing site visits and gathering scope of work details.

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Specific Responsibilities:

Create detailed and accurate estimates using Xactimate software.

Communicate effectively with homeowners to assess project needs.

Coordinate with insurance companies and adjusters to align scope and coverage.

Visit job sites as needed to verify damage, take measurements, and ensure scope accuracy.

Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Maintain up-to-date documentation and records for all estimates and claims.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Proven experience using Xactimate in a professional setting.
