Jr. Operations Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Operations Analyst to join our Operations team. This entry-level position will support the analysis and optimization of our plant operations and supply chain, focusing on operational projects and ensuring the smooth running of our systems. Reporting directly into the Director of Supply Chain & Operations Excellence, you will work closely with senior analysts and other departments to learn and contribute to projects that impact our entire operation, from product manufacturing through to distribution. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and essential industry.

Salary Range: $65,000 - 80,000 annually DOE
A Day in the Life
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of operational data related to our systems and processes.
Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Identify trends and patterns in data to support operational improvements.
Process Improvement:
Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Participate in projects related to system upgrades and implementations.
Inventory and Asset Management:
Assist in tracking and managing inventories.
Support the life cycle management and procurement process for our fleet and equipment.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Provide timely and accurate updates on project progress and issues.
Required Skills
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Data Science or Analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Basic understanding of database concepts and data analysis techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong interest in learning and developing technical skills.
Desired Skills (Nice to Have):
Basic understanding of SAP or other ERP systems.
Understanding of fluid milk processing, and a general knowledge of manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of inventory control principles, especially for perishable goods.
