Job Title: Mechanic
Job Description
As a mechanic, you will undergo a comprehensive 30/90 day training program, ensuring adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols. You will be responsible for executing a variety of maintenance tasks, assisting other departments with work orders, and maintaining safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities
Complete the 30/90 day training tracker and adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE protocols.
Communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, and follow basic instructions to complete tasks.
Perform simple welding and torch operations as needed, and own and properly use basic hand tools for maintenance tasks.
Execute basic preventative maintenance activities, read and comprehend repair manuals, and understand different types of mechanical fasteners.
Assist other departments to complete work orders and comply with company safety requirements at all times.
Perform basic troubleshooting with guidance from experienced technicians and solve practical problems as they arise.
Conduct all assignments within the assigned timeframe and other duties as delegated by the supervisor.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, communicate issues clearly and respectfully, and adhere to all relevant procedures, rules, and regulations.Essential Skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Jersey.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
