Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated forming technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues that arise during the production of cardboard boxes. On a day-to-day basis, the technician will be setting up machines, adjusting glue points, performing minor maintenance and preventive maintenance, installing new tooling for machine issues, and aligning machines to ensure specifications are met. The technician will operate within a cell of 16 different machines.

Responsibilities

Set up machines for production.

Adjust glue points and machine alignment to meet box specifications.

Perform minor maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks.

Install new tooling to address machine issues.

Operate in a cell consisting of 16 different machines.Essential Skills

Machine operation

Mechanical aptitude

Mechanically inclined

Preventive maintenance experience

2 years of mechanical aptitude

Experience in adjusting start/stop points

2 years of preventive maintenance, including greasing bearings

2 years of experience in machine setup and changeoverPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
