Hiring for Machine Operator.

Shift: 2nd and 3rd

Pay: $18 to $24

Location: York, PA

Job Description:

We are currently hiring dedicated machine operators for our 2nd and 3rd shifts. New team members will begin with 4 to 6 weeks of training on the 1st shift to

ensure they are fully prepared. In this role, you will work with large spools of steel wire, operating machinery to trim and coat the wire according to customer specifications. Our products are used in a wide range of industries, including construction and office supplies. No prior experience is necessary —

we provide full training to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

Run Machines: Operate digital machines to rewind and package products correctly and on time.

Switch Products: Change machine settings for different products and make strong, clean welds.

Do Maintenance: Perform regular checks and basic maintenance on machines.

Measure Accurately: Use tools like tape measures, micrometres, and callipers to check product quality.

Know the Goals: Understand quality standards, delivery schedules, and waste reduction targets.

Work Safely: Follow all safety rules while running machines.

Stay Tidy: Keep your work area clean and ready for the next shift.

Be Involved: Join training sessions, meetings, and team projects.

Drive Forklifts: Be able to pass forklift training and keep your license up to date.

Solve Problems: Use basic problem-solving skills to fix issues quickly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $49920.00/yr.
