Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
Operate and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision parts. Perform set-ups and adjustments on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Utilize G-code programming to control machine operations. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Use inspection tools to verify the accuracy and quality of machined parts. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC milling machines with precision.
Perform machine adjustments to optimize performance.
Utilize G-code programming for machine operations.
Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
Verify machined parts' quality using inspection tools.
Collaborate with team members for troubleshooting.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in CNC machining with a focus on milling operations.
Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines.
Strong understanding of G-code programming.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using inspection tools like calipers and micrometers.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
Certification in CNC machining or related field.
Experience with Fanuc Controls and advanced CNC programming.
Basic programming skills are a plus.

Work Environment
The position is based in a shop/manufacturing environment with shifts typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, though flexibility may be required. The noise level is moderate, and ear protection is provided for areas with noise up to 100dB. The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds. The workspace may have dust or other irritants, and safety protocols must be followed. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
