Responsibilities
Safely start-up, shut down, and troubleshoot the structural foam process during production runs.
Set up structural foam molding machines and perform changeovers.
Collect and analyze production and quality data for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Perform tooling changes as scheduled, including setting dryers, thermometers, and processing functions of the molding machine.
Ensure first piece inspection is complete and products conform before releasing to full production.
Monitor running machines, ensuring processes documentation is up to date.
Make process adjustments as required, identifying issues related to material, tooling, or machine.
Collaborate with shift leadership and maintenance to reduce downtime.
Actively participate in structural foam continuous improvement efforts.
Assist Process Engineer to ensure molded specifications are achieved.
Troubleshoot tooling, press, and material handling systems safely.
Work independently with minimal supervision according to the planned schedule.
Support and help develop the “5S” program, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Perform additional activities as directed by supervision.Essential Skills
Minimum 6 months of experience with any type of Structural Foam.
Experience in machine start-up and shutdown.
Knowledge of basic machine functions, plastic injection molding, troubleshooting, and mold tooling.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Related molding plastics processing and maintenance experience preferred.
Experience in mold change, mold setup, and injection moulding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to temperatures reflective of outdoor seasonal conditions. The position requires consistent equipment movement and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rockwall, Texas.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
