Description
The Database Manager/Enrollment Coordinator supports and advances the mission of FCS by overseeing school-wide operation of school management software related to enrollment, admissions and marketing; reports to the Admissions Director. Responsibilities of the Database Manager/Enrollment Coordinator:
This individual will play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and integrating our core database system (FACTS SIS) to ensure seamless operations across academic and administrative departments
Supports school-wide operation of school management software related to enrollment, admissions, and marketing
Enters and manages information related to individual student enrollment and admissions records, including parent access through the family portal
Maintains a secure environment and secure management of information regarding students, families, FCS staff, and FCS information
Manages the student information system (SIS), FACTS, ensuring data integrity across all modules in the system database
Designs and generates custom queries, reports, and exports for internal departments
Troubleshoots and resolves faculty, staff, and parent SIS-related issues
Ensure the integrity of the school’s database through regular review, verification, and data cleanup
Monitor data backups and manage annual rollover and academic term setup
Coordinates changes and upgrades to school management software in relation to enrollment and admissions with software company and FCS administrative team
Responds to requests by the Head of School, Development Director, Admissions Director, and Administration to compile data for reports
Keeps accurate records relating to transportation and both before and after-care
Keeps school management software accurate and up-to-date
Provides regular reports to administrators and directors on enrollment status and projections
Works with Finance department for accurate billing regarding enrollment, tuition, transportation, and before and after-care
Handles all documentation regarding custody agreements of students and maintains accurate records in database
Requirements
The Database Manager/Enrollment Coordinator should have the following qualifications:
Committed Christian with a close personal walk with the Lord, maintained through personal routines (such as prayer and reading the Bible) and in the school setting (through regular participation in “Prayer and Share” devotional times and other spiritual development opportunities at the school) (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Possesses Christian character qualities to serve as a role model for young people and readiness to share faith in Christ with students as part of our school’s mission (1 Timothy 4:12)
Regular in attendance at a Christian, Bible-believing church, whose fundamental beliefs are not contrary to the FCS Statement of Faith (Hebrews 10:25)
Commitment to a Biblical lifestyle, not promoting or engaging in actions, beliefs, or lifestyles contrary to biblical standards, such as premarital, extramarital, transgender, or homosexual behavior (Romans 12:1-2, I Corinthians 6:9-20, Ephesians 4:1-11, 5:3-5, I Thessalonians 4:3-8, I Timothy 4:12, II Timothy 2:19-22, I Peter 1:15-16, 2:15-17, I John 3:1-3)
If married, a solid commitment based on Mark 10:9 and positive marital relationship
Strong commitment to Christian education
Strong technology skills including Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Sheets
