Part-Time Temporary Natural Science Laboratory Technician

Description

The lab assistant is responsible for the set-up and take-down of materials for biology and/or general chemistry courses and other duties as assigned by the Natural Science Laboratory Supervisor. Work with lab course instructors and with other lab assistant personnel. Prepare lab materials and restock as necessary throughout the week. Maintain the biology and/or chemistry lab spaces. A general knowledge of biology and chemistry laboratory procedures is preferred.

Start Date: July 1, 2025.

Salary: $15.00 per hour

Working Hours: 15 hours per week. Flexible schedule is possible.

Closing Date: June 1, 2025, or open until filled.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicant must have successfully completed at least 8 semester hours of college-level biology or chemistry courses with a grade of B or higher, B.S. in Biology or Chemistry, preferred.
