Job Description:
JSL Technologies is looking for a Contracts Manager to join our growing company and be part of its success.
In this full-time role with JSL you will be responsible for writing, evaluating, negotiating and executing various contracts and contract documents covering a range of transactions; creating and maintaining relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and customers; and maintaining correspondence and documentation related to contracts. You will also be communicating and presenting information to stakeholders regarding contracts; monitoring contracts; and moving forward with close-out extension or renewal of contracts as well as problem-solving contract-related issues. You will be involved in reviewing Government contract modifications, preparing subcontractor contract modifications and administering contracts in Deltek Costpoint. The position will also include proposal development efforts.
Craft, evaluate, negotiate and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions.
Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal according to what’s best for the company.
Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself.
Drafting and revising contracts with customers
Ensuring internal contract documents are accurate and well-maintained
Meeting with customers to discuss legal and business matters
Providing advice to different teams on contract generation
Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients
Developing and implementing procedures and policies for contract management
Reviewing and negotiating contractual details and terms
Ensuring contracts comply with laws, regulations, and company policies
Managing contractual issues, disputes, and negotiations
Maintaining detailed records of all company contracts and their progress.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferably Business Administration, Law/Legal (non-construction Contract Administrator roles)
At least six years of Government contract administration experience
Proven work experience as a Contract Manager or similar role
Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulations
Familiarity with accounting procedures
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Proactive, highly motivated and flexible
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now, or anytime in the future.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret-level U.S. Security Clearance
Familiarity with accounting procedures
Deltek Costpoint experience
Security Clearance:
Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. $115,000-$130,000
