Position Summary:
OMM Adjunct Faculty, often described as “Table Trainers” are an essential part of the OMM Curriculum. The primary role of OMM adjunct faculty is to assist the OMM department in the delivery of the Osteopathic curriculum by assisting in the OMM lab. The specific responsibilities of the adjunct faculty are to supervise the students learning the osteopathic techniques in the laboratory setting and provide expert guidance on the performance and utilization of those techniques.
This is a part-time position; teaching in the OMM lab one to two afternoons per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
Adjunct faculty teaching in the OMM Lab must have a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and be graduates of a COCA accredited Osteopathic College, and have a current medical license in the state of North Carolina or be in the process of acquiring a North Carolina License.
