ECHO is looking for a Regional Sales Manager supporting our North American Distributors. This is a remote role based in Richmond, VA, with a territory that includes Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

This position pays 100,000-120,000 plus incentives based on experience and qualifications.

Tuition reimbursement Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop and strengthen professional relationships with existing Commercial Accounts.

Identify and assess potential candidates to join the current group, including conducting on-site meetings at both corporate headquarters and branch locations.

Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet company objectives, overseeing goals, revenue, and sales endeavors for the ECHO and Shindaiwa brands in North America, distributed through an independent, two-step distributor network.

Aid in crafting a strategic sales blueprint to attain sales targets and enhance market presence in designated territories and core markets.

Assist in drafting sales plans encompassing promotions, programs, and requisite training to fulfill annual objectives.

Collaborate with Distributor partners to pinpoint, evaluate progress, and foster new business prospects.

Monitor and assess sales performance metrics to ensure targets are not only met but surpassed.

Deploy effective sales tactics to bolster revenue and market share.

Cultivate enduring relationships with pivotal clients, distributors, and influencers within targeted accounts.

Conduct customer visits, meetings, and presentations to advocate ECHO programs and products, address customer queries, and proactively evaluate and enhance territory efficacy.

Engage with customers to grasp their requirements, offer tailored solutions, and guarantee satisfaction throughout the sales journey.

Deliver comprehensive reports on business performance relative to plan and activities that drive business results.

Provide insights on advertising, promotions, packaging, and merchandising.

Identify optimal practices and procedural enhancements to bolster the successful execution of assigned programs, including training initiatives to support sales growth and project delivery enhancements.

Fulfill internal requisites for forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and expectations related to new product development. Job Experience/Skills:

5+ years in sales including proven ability to manage the sales process in a two-step distribution network.

Demonstrate exceptional communications skills, robust leadership qualities, and analytical problem solving.

Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time.

Education: College degree, MBA preferred.
