Hospitalist Physician

Start: August or September 2025

Duration: 26-week assignment

Schedule: 7on/7off Day Shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)

EMR: Sorian (Cerner-based)

Position Details:

patients per provider/day (targeted census)

Average 20 admissions per shift during peak season

Closed ICU (managed by pulmonary/critical care team)

Hospitalists respond to codes and rapid responses

4 providers on the floor, 1 assigned to ICU per day

Supported by 6 APPs covering admissions (3x12s)

Requirements:

MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Minimum 5 years of hospitalist experience required

Active PA license or IMLC eligible

Must have BLS, ACLS, DEA

About the Team:

11 full-time physicians (multiple retirements and transitions expected)

2 full-time and 1 part-time/per diem nocturnists

Seeking stable core of full-time locum physicians for consistency
