Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are hiring Electrical Technician for a manufacturer in Peachtree City for 2nd and 3rd shift. The level of pay is based on written and hand on testing, get paid for your skillset.

hift duration: 8hr shift times - currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Pay based on demonstrated Technical Skill Level:

Tech Level 1: $28.90/hr

Tech Level 2: $29.94/hr

Tech Level 3: $33.21/hr

Tech Level 4: $35.11/hr

Shift Differential: $0.35/hr 2nd Shift and $0.45/hr 3rd Shift

Nice Pay Premiums with Opportunities for Overtime:

8hr workday

Daily Overtime (time over 8hrs, paid at 1.5x)

Saturdays are Overtime Pay*

Sundays are Double Pay*

Every Thursday is Pay Day!

Locate and diagnose problems by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments

Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools; examine parts for form and texture

Inspect used parts with rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements

Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges

Inform production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques to control downtime and monitor compliance

Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment

Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipts

Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to achieve job results

Provide mechanical and electrical maintenance information by answering questions and fulfilling requests

Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Troubleshoot and diagnose 3-phase, up to 480V electrical or mechanical malfunctions using standard electronic test equipment and referencing technical drawings/documents

Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance functions

Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Document and communicate
