$17 - $19 per hour pay rate

Full Time

Onsite in Patterson, LA

Contract

6am - 4pm M-F - some weekends may be required

Only considering candidates with the following:

Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and rework techniques

Familiarity with testing and troubleshooting mechanical systems

Understanding of dimensioning, tolerances, and mechanical components

High school diploma or GED required

Technical training or certifications in manufacturing are a plus

Ability to create and maintain labor records or production logs

Basic computer skills for data entry and system use

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and ability to work in a team

Manual dexterity and ability to lift/move moderate weights

Willingness to stand for extended periods and work in varied positions

Responsibilities:

Assemble components of all Product Lines.

Select correct tools and fixtures.

Test assembled products.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.

Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.

Create labor records for all transactions.

Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
