This position focuses on providing essential psychological services to students during a maternal leave, covering the 2025-2026 school year. The role is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week, and involves working across 1-2 elementary schools in Overland Park, KS.
Qualifications:
Doctoral or masters degree in School Psychology
Valid School Psychologist licensure or certification
Experience working with elementary-aged students
Strong assessment and intervention skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and staff
Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations

Coverage across 1-2 elementary schools
Responsibilities:
Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student needs
Offer consultation to families regarding behavioral and academic concerns
Deliver professional development workshops for staff as needed
Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
