A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in pediatric settings, particularly within K-12 schools. This role is designed to provide targeted support to students across two schools in Thomasville, AL, for the upcoming school year, focusing on direct speech and language services.
Qualifications:
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
Proficient in conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist License
Location:
Thomasville, AL
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language evaluations and implement therapy for a caseload of approximately 20 students
Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
Deliver direct services through 30-minute sessions, twice a week
Collaborate with other specialists and educators to support students overall communication needs
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as required
