We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This Contract to permanent position offers a dynamic role in a fast-paced energy company, providing exposure to various departments and leadership levels. You will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations while interacting with a friendly and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome visitors with a courteous demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.

• Handle daily incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including coordinating shipping services.

• Oversee parking arrangements for guests, including validating parking and managing related inquiries.

• Maintain and audit the office security badge system on a quarterly basis.

• Ensure the front lobby and conference rooms are clean and organized, resetting spaces as needed after meetings.

• Process office invoices and submit accurate expense reports using Concur.

• Monitor and restock office and kitchen supplies, placing orders when inventory runs low.

• Assist in planning and executing company events, such as holiday parties and employee gatherings.

• Manage calendars for office conference rooms and common areas, scheduling appointments and meetings as needed.

• Provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant and Office Manager, including handling confidential information and updating SharePoint with relevant company updates.• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.

• At least one year of experience in office administration is necessary.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a detail-oriented work environment is required.

• Strong spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Creativity and enthusiasm for organizing office events or social gatherings.
