Qualifications:
Current and valid SLPA (School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) certification
Relevant experience working with students in educational settings, particularly K-12
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, speech-language pathologists, and other staff
Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and effective intervention strategies
Proficient in maintaining documentation and progress reports

Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of instructional programs and treatment plans as directed by a licensed speech-language pathologist
Support students in individual and group settings, promoting their communicative skills
Conduct assessments and document student progress, ensuring compliance with state regulations
Collaborate with educational staff to create a supportive learning environment
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student needs and progress
Maintain confidentiality of student records and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures
