Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated material handler to join our team. Ideal candidates should possess experience with cherry picking, reach trucks, or forklifts, although training is available. Warehouse experience is beneficial, and candidates must be willing to train on an order picker (cherry picker) and should be comfortable working at heights. Initially, duties will include hand picking, packing, or working in the shipping area. Once trained on the picker, responsibilities will involve operating a cherry picker and selecting products for shipping. Meeting the picking rates required is essential.
Responsibilities
Operate cherry picker to select products for shipping.
Hand pick, pack, and work in the shipping area until trained on equipment.
Build to picking rates required.
Keep up with picking/packing goals.
Willingness to work overtime each day if needed.Essential Skills
Experience with picking, packing, and forklift operation is preferred.
Proficiency in RF scanning.
Comfortable working at heights.
High school diploma or GED.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Warehouse experience is helpful.

Work Environment
The facility is a part distribution center for a manufacturer of large cleaning and sweeping machines, equipment, and parts. The environment is not climate-controlled, and attire such as shorts and tank tops is acceptable. Employees must maintain picking/packing goals despite the facility being hot in summer and cool in winter, with extra breaks, water, and popsicles provided if temperatures exceed 97 degrees. The pace is not extremely fast, but goals are expected. Trainers wear light blue shirts, and leads wear dark blue shirts. First shift starts at 7am, 8am, and 10am, and second shift runs from 1:30 PM to 10 PM.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
