Overview

The Systems Analyst role will work within the Seminole Hard Rock Support Services IT department. The System Analyst is responsible for but not limited to the support, maintenance and implementation of applications.

Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Performing tuning and maintenance of applications and interfaces

Assists with implementations of new applications, upgrades and patchs to existing applications

Proactively re-evaluates software processes and procedures to eliminate obstacles for end users

Develop technical documentation in a clear and concise manner

Works with IT team to define and execute long and short term roadmap.

Delivers timely resolution to change control and system updates

Delivers timely resolution to break/fix items that are presented to them

Provides application support to all departments

Anticipate user requirements and makes adjustments to applications as needed

Qualifications

University degree in Computer Science or Business Administration required; OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

On-call rotation requiring willingness to evening, weekend, and holiday work, as needed.

Willingness to carry company phone for on call rotation schedule to support end users.

Willingness to travel as deemed necessary by IT Management (national & international).

3-4 years Point of Sale (POS) application and hardware experience, Micros preferred

3-4 years of experience in Restaurant or Retail back office applications preferred

Working knowledge of service desk frameworks such as ITIL Basic understanding of concepts relating to data polling

Basic understanding of SQL queries

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be in operating areas. In these areas, you may be exposed to environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
