An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services within a K-12 educational environment. Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Previous experience working in schools, particularly with K-12 students
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to collaborating with educational staff and families to support student success
Responsibilities:
Conduct screening, assessment, and diagnosis of speech and language disorders
Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on individual student needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
Provide direct therapy services and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
Educate and support families regarding speech and language development and disorders
