What you’ll own:

• Providing primary support for the company\'s network, including but not limited to switching, cutover support, and IT compliance and network audits

• Managing the deployment, monitoring, upgrade, and support of Cisco switches in the network

• Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the network infrastructure to maintain system scalability, integration, redundancy, performance, and functionality

• Creating and maintaining documentation for all network locations

• Providing troubleshooting support as needed

• Being available as needed

Our client in the healthcare space is seeking a CCNA certified Cisco Network Engineer with LAN, route/switch and hardware migration/implementation experience.

EVP

This role is supporting the \"LAN Get Well\" project, which is an enterprise wide effort to assess and upgrade LAN Infrastructure across the enterprise. Opportunity for someone to gain valuable experience with a large migration/upgrade effort in a healthcare environment.

Work Environment

On-site role at Tier 1 hospitals. Consultant will be working in IDF/MDF closets in a team of two engineers to support physical upgrade of Cisco routers/switches.

Experience you’ll need:

• Experience with network management

• Experience with campus switching

• Experience with Cisco HW/SW

• Experience working in MDFs and IDFs

• Experience in the planning, installing, and cutting over enterprise local area networks

• Experience with cable management

• Advanced knowledge of data center and campus switching

• Strong knowledge of network security policies and security best practices
