Litigation Paralegal

Robert Half is partnered with a Personal Injury Law Firm in the Denver Tech Center on the search for a 5+ years’ Litigation Paralegal. Candidates interested in this position should have experience handling personal injury matters in litigation, and preferably some experience with medical malpractice (plaintiff). Candidates should also have an understanding and working-familiarity with Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other necessary litigation documents in both Federal and State Court

Schedule meetings

Calendar hearings and deadlines

Organize client files

Document production to include pre-litigation demand letters, correspondence, timelines, memorandums, and medical summaries

Trial Preparation

Conduct legal research

Docketing and calculating deadlines

Administrative duties as requested

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, CM/ECF/PACER are required, as well as strong written/communication skills and attention to detail. This position is 100% in-office (in the Denver Metro) Monday – Friday. Our client does offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Litigation Paralegal, with a focus on personal injury cases.

• Familiarity with medical malpractice litigation is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Federal and State Rules of Civil Procedure.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• High attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, in-office environment, Monday through Friday.

• Experience with trial preparation and legal research.
